Kim Jonghyeon, also known by his former stage name JR, debuted 2012 as a member of boy band NU'EST under Pledis Entertainment. 

NU'EST ended its exclusive contract with Pledis Entertainment on March 14, 2022 and Jonghyeon signed an exclusive contract with EVERMORE Entertainment in May 2022. He dropped his solo debut EP "MERIDIEM" on Nov. 8, 2022.
