Seohyun debuted in 2007 as the youngest member of the girl group Girls' Generation. Only sixteen at the time, the K-pop star rose to fame with the group's hit songs, including "Gee" (2009), "The Boys" (2011), "I Got a Boy" (2013) and "Lion Heart" (2015). In 2012, she became a member of the group's subunit Girls' Generation-TTS with members Taeyeon and Tiffany. Praised for her vocals, Seohyun landed lead roles in musical theatre in "Gone with the Wind" (2015) and "Mama Mia" (2016). After leaving SM Entertainment in 2017, Seohyun released a solo EP "Don't Say No" and took on acting roles in drama series such as "Bad Thief Good Thief" (2017), "The Time" (2018) and "Private Lives" (2020).
