Song Kang-ho debuted in 1991 through the theatrical play “A Little Monk,” and made his silver screen debut in a minor role in director Hong Sang-soo’s “The Day A Pig Fell Into The Well,” (1996). After gaining public praise for his performance as a gangster in the film “No. 3,” (1997), the actor went on to take on roles in a variety of genres with legendary directors such as Lee Chang-dong, Bong Joon-ho and Park Chan-wook. Of some 40 films he featured in throughout his 26-year career, his most iconic works include “Memories of Murder,” (2003), “The Host,” (2006), “The Attorney,” (2013) “A Taxi Driver,” (2017), “Parasite,” (2019) and now “Broker,” (2022), for which he took home the 'Best Actor' Award at the 2022 Cannes International Film Festival.
