Cherry Bullet debuted in January 2019 as the second girl group rolled out by FNC Entertainment. The group got off to a modest start with its debut track, “Q&A” (2019), steadily rising up the music charts with “Really Really” (2019) and “Love So Sweet” (2021).
The band bid farewell to three members early on, with former members Mirae, Kokoro and LinLin leaving the band in December 2019 without explaining why. The group continued its activities as a seven-member group, with the current members Haeyoon, Yuju, Bora, Jiwon, Remi, Chaerin and May.
With the name Cherry Bullet, a combination of two objects with contrasting images, the group strives to be “the girl group that will snipe the general public’s mind with its lovely and energetic charm,” according to the agency. The group is most famous for its 2020 song “Hands Up.”
