Does VANNER really hope to host a dinner show in the future?
Yes. VANNER members have said multiple times, during an interview with local media, that they hope to host a dinner show in the days to come for the fans to enjoy.
“In the short run, we hope to hit the jackpot by receiving our first weekly music show trophy, and in the long run, we hope to host a dinner show. I think that will be a true jackpot for both Vanner and our fans,” Hyesung said in a group interview in January, ahead of the release of its second EP "Capture the Flag."
"We hope to stay with our fans as long as we can, and if it really is possible, we do hope to host a dinner show," GON said. "I think hosting a dinner show in the future can really be a jackpot for our fans."
Do VANNER members live together in a dorm?
Yes. In fact, VANNER members now have rooms for themselves.
"We now have a room for each other," Taehwan said during a group interview in January. "We now have two dorms and it's split between two and three members."
"We shared one room between the four members and that evolved into sharing a room between two and three members respectively," Sungkook said. "Thankfully now we are at the point where we all get a room for ourselves."
Boy band VANNER debuted in February 2019 under VT Entertainment. Prior to its debut, the five members held more than 200 live performances in Japan in order to train.
The group's name is a portmanteau of Banner and Victory.
It consists of five members: Taehwan, Gon, Hyesung, Sungkook and Yeonggwang.
In 2023, VANNER starred on JTBC's survival show "Peak Time" which aired from February to April. The show aimed to shed light on already-debuted but lesser-known boy bands. VANNER took first place on the final episode and rose to prominence.
The boy band's fandom is dubbed VVS, derived from the high diamond clarity grade "Very Very Slightly included."
After winning "Peak Time," Vanner signed with KLAP Entertainment.
