Boy band Trendz to release new music in March
Boy band Trendz will release new music in March, according to its entertainment agency Global H Media on Friday.
The upcoming release comes just four months after the band dropped its single "Blue Set Chapter. [Unknown Code]" in November last year.
The boy band of seven — Havit, Leon, Yoonwoo, Hankook, ra.L, Eunil and Yechan — debuted in January 2022 with its first EP “Blue Set Chapter 1. Tracks.” Prior to its debut, the band was known for uploading dance cover videos of other K-pop idol groups.
The one-year-old rookie band is seeing a rise in popularity with record-breaking album sales. Its last single sold three times more than its previous release "Blue Set Chapter 2. Choice," and five times more than its debut EP. At the 2022 Asia Artist Awards in Japan held in December, the band received the Focus Award.
Earlier this month, Trendz unveiled its New Year resolution through a statement that read the members wanted to "try a concept that they hadn't done before." The upcoming release is expected to reflect this goal with new themes, vocals and performances.
