Chanmi from girl group AOA and Hyuk from boy band VIXX are filming a romantic comedy tentatively called “Unusual Girl.”

Their respective agencies, FNC Entertainment and Jellyfish Entertainment, confirmed the news to the media Tuesday.

The director is Kim Jin-young, who also directed “Baby and Me” (2008), “Fortune Salon” (2009), “Meet the In-Laws” (2011) and “Love Clinique” (2012).

Hyuk has appeared in “Chasing” (2015), “Happy Together” (2018) and “Croissant” (2020), but it’s Chanmi’s silver screen debut.

Entertainment group iHQ, production company Box Media, and cable channel skyTV, an affiliate of KT, are co-producing the film. The release date has yet to be set.
