A series of classical concerts will take place at the Blue House in November, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on Tuesday.

Four concerts under the title that translates to "K-Classic Coloring the Fall Season at the Blue House" will be held on the second floor of the Blue House's state guest house known as Yeongbingwan, in Jongno District, central Seoul, from Nov. 1 to 11.

The ministry collaborated with the Seoul Arts Center and Korean Symphony Orchestra.

The events will feature four acclaimed classical performers.

Pianist Sunwook Kim will give a solo concert on Nov. 1 at 3 p.m. Pianist Sunwoo Yekwon will perform with Korean Symphony Orchestra on Nov. 4 at 3 p.m. Violinist Yang In-mo will perform with the Korean Symphony Orchestra on Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. Lastly, artistic director and pianist Son Yeol-eum will perform on Nov. 11 at 7 p.m.

Yeongbingwan used to be a place for foreign diplomatic leaders and figures to enjoy meals and various performances as a welcome to Korea. Through the upcoming concerts, the ministry hopes to refashion Yeongbingwan as a place in which the public can enjoy various culture and art events.

Parts of the performances will be made into a short video clip and shown during screening events at the Seoul Arts Center, in Seocho District, southern Seoul.

The ministry plans to host more musical events around the Blue House next year.

Registrations for the upcoming classical concerts will be available from Oct. 26 to 27. More information about the concerts and tickets can be found on the local ticketing platform Interpark.
