Davichi member Lee Hae-ri announced she’ll be walking down the aisle in July.
Lee posted on her social media on Wednesday that she has some surprising news to break to her fans.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this, it feels like a dream,” she wrote. “I’m getting married.”
The singer said it will be a small wedding with her family and close friends. Her husband-to-be is not a celebrity. The wedding will be in July but a specific date was not disclosed.
“He makes me laugh and I have a lot to learn from him,” she wrote. “Most of all, he respects me and adores me. I hope to be with him for the rest of my life and treasure him.”
Lee promised her fans that she will continue as a member of Davichi even after the marriage.
“I will still be Lee Hae-ri of Davichi and continue to sing and laugh together with Min-kyung,” she said. “Please look forward to our next release and concerts.”
Lee Hae-ri and Kang Min-kyung debuted as Davichi in 2008 and gained popularity with songs like "8282" (2009), "Let the time stop" (2010) and "Unspoken Words" (2019).
