More confirmed cases of Covid-19 are continuing to pop up in the K-pop industry.

Girl groups Brave Girls’ Yuna, Oh My Girl’s Yubin and Viviz’s Umji (also a former member of now-disbanded GFriend) tested positive on Friday, according to each of their agencies.

Yuna’s agency Brave Entertainment uploaded a post to the four-member group’s fan community to share the news.

“Yuna has received both doses of the vaccine, but was in poor condition yesterday and pre-emptively took a PCR test,” the statement reads. “She was confirmed positive this morning, and the other members Yujeong and Eunji and the crew members tested negative.”

Member Minyoung recently has been taking a break from her schedules due to health problems.

In a statement, Yubin’s agency WM Entertainment said that Yubin took a PCR test after hearing that a crew member who worked with fellow member Hyojung tested positive.

The remaining six members, including Hyojung, of the seven-member girl group and staff members tested negative.

Yubin also received two doses of a vaccine and is currently in self-quarantine in accordance with the health authorities’ guidelines.

Oh My Girl’s appearance at the 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards held on Thursday evening was pre-recorded, WM Entertainment said.

Big Planet Made, Umji’s agency, also found out through a PCR test that she contracted the virus after a staff member tested positive.

Umji already had two jabs and is currently displaying mild symptoms.

The other members of the three-member group tested negative, but will regularly take PCR tests.

All three artists who tested positive have stopped their plans and are undergoing treatment.
