Jun. K and Wooyoung of 2PM will hold a special fan concert
Boy band 2PM members Jun. K and Wooyoung will be holding their own special "fan concert," JYP Entertainment announced Wednesday.
The fan concert will be more like a fan meeting with performances from the artists like a small concert, said the label. The fan concert titled “2022 Fan-Con ‘115430’” will be held at Blue Square’s Mastercard Hall on April 30 and May 1 in Yongsan District, central Seoul. It will also be streamed live via Beyond LIVE.
The upcoming fan concert is to celebrate the two members’ birthdays. The name of the fan concert “115430” refers to Jun. K’s birthday, Jan. 15, and Wooyoung’s, April 30. Adding the six digits together equals 14, which can be reinterpreted as 2 p.m., the 14th hour of the day.
The band debuted in 2008 with the digital single “10 Out of 10.” The band has six members: Jun. K, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Junho and Chansung. It was originally a seven-member band with rapper Jay Park, otherwise known as Park Jae-bum, as its leader, but Park left the band in 2009 and 2PM has remained a six-member band ever since.
2PM’s latest release was a Japanese EP “With Me Again” last September. It was the band's first Japanese EP in five years.
