Korea's first ever sci-fi talk show, incorporating the newest technologies such as extended reality (XR) and augmented reality (AR), will premiere next month on EBS, according to the broadcaster on Thursday.

"Visionaries" (translated) will air its first episode on Nov. 10.

The show is expected to discuss societal issues that arise from scientific and technological advancements.

A three-part pilot of the series was released last year. It won a silver prize from the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival's talk show section and Prize of the Month from Korean PD Association.

The show will be co-hosted by Chuu from girl group Loona and actor Ha Seok-jin.

The show's creatives are producer Le Mi-sol, best known for directing EBS documentaries "The Fourth Human" (2018) and "Looking at Humans Through Their Brains" (2020, translated), and author So Hyeon-su who has written works including "Printera" (2018).
