Lee Hyo-ri's 'Seoul Check-In' to start April 8
Tving's original reality show “Seoul Check-In,” which stars singer Lee Hyo-ri, will premiere on April 8, the streaming platform said Friday.
According to Tving, the premise of the show is based on the questions: What does Lee do after work when she is in Seoul? Where does she sleep, who does she meet and where does she go?
Lee moved to Jeju Island over nine years ago with her husband, singer-songwriter Lee Sang-soon. The couple married in 2013.
On the day the pilot was revealed in late January, the show immediately topped Tving’s list of most popular shows. It showed behind-the-scene footage of Lee rehearsing for awards show performances, shopping sprees in department stores and dates with celebrity friends.
The show promises to reveal more about Lee’s personal life in Seoul.
Tving is currently only available in Korea.
Lee debuted in 1998 as a member of girl group Fin.K.L. She established a successful solo career with hit songs “U-Go-Girl” (2008) and “Bad Girls” (2013). She was also a regular on variety shows including SBS’s “Family Outing” (2008-10), “Hyori’s Homestay” (2017-18) and “Camping Club” (2019).
