New Netflix series 'The Glory' to premiere on Dec. 30
Upcoming Netflix series “The Glory,” penned by star screenwriter Kim Eun-sook, will premiere on Dec. 30.
Netflix made the announcement Thursday and also released the first poster for “The Glory,” a revenge drama series that will be led by Song Hye-kyo. Song’s character, a woman named Moon Dong-eun, seeks revenge after suffering school violence during her childhood.
Actor Lee Do-hyun will play a mysterious character named Ju Yeo-jung, while actor Lim Ji-yeon plays Park Yeon-jin, Dong-eun's bully. “The Glory” also stars Yeom Hye-ran, Park Sung-hoon and Jung Sung-il.
Kim is the force behind many hit Korean television series, writing the scripts for shows such as tvN’s “Mr. Sunshine” (2018), “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God” (2016-17) and KBS’s “Descendants of the Sun” (2016).
