Yeo One of boy band Pentagon will halt his activities to recover from his injuries after being involved in a car accident.

“Member Yeo One was involved in a car accident when he was hit by a driver who was drunk,” his agency Cube Entertainment said Thursday. “He was returning home from work early Wednesday morning.”

Yeo One was immediately transported to the nearest hospital for treatment.

“Because Yeo One wanted to, he appeared on a live show but as he was heading home he said he was in pain,” the agency said. “He’s received medical attention and is on his way to recovery.”

With Yeo One focusing on getting better, boy band Pentagon will be temporarily active as a seven-member group. The band’s current members are Jinho, Hui, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino and Wooseok. Hui is currently serving his mandatory military service as a public sector worker.

Pentagon dropped its 12th EP “IN:VITE U” in late January, which debuted at No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Albums Chart and topped the charts in 30 regions including Brazil, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Peru and Spain.

Pentagon debuted in 2016 with an EP titled “Pentagon” with lead track “Gorilla.”
