Singer Chungha and boy band Super Junior decided to delay the releases of their albums as the music industry struggles with an uptick in cases of coronavirus, their agencies MNH Entertainment and Label SJ announced on Wednesday.

Chungha was reported to have tested positive for the virus on Monday and has since halted all of her activities. With the news, her agency MNH Entertainment decided “to postpone the release date for her upcoming album after internal discussion.”

The singer was supposed to prerelease a single “X” on Thursday and her first full-length album “Querencia” on Jan. 4 next year.

Boy band Super Junior will also delay the release of their 10th album for one month, Label SJ reported through the band's official social media channels.

“We have decided to postpone the release of the band’s 10th full-length album ‘The Renaissance’ from this month to January,” the agency said. “Since it’s an important album which celebrates the band’s 15th anniversary since their debut [in 2005], we’ve inevitably decided to delay the release for a more perfected album.”

Promotional activities related to the album will be updated on Super Junior's social media accounts in the following weeks.
