Singer Kim Jong-hyeon to release first solo EP 'Meridiem' on Nov. 8
Singer Kim Jong-hyeon, formerly known as JR from disbanded boy band NU’EST, is set to release his first solo EP “Meridiem” on Nov. 8.
Evermore Entertainment posted a video teasing the upcoming tracks on Kim’s social media channels Friday.
“Meridiem,” which means noon in Latin, expresses his gratitude toward his fans, said the agency.
The EP consists of six tracks: lead song “Lights,” “Intro (into the Light),” “Blaze,” “décalcomanie,” “Creator” and “to.( ).”
Kim took part in writing the lyrics for every song except for “Creator.” He also participated in composing “décalcomanie” and “to.( ).”
NU’EST, which debuted in March 15, 2012, announced in March that it will disband, coinciding with the end of the members’ contracts. The band released a farewell album titled “Needle & Bubble” at the time.
