Three members of WEi tested positive for Covid-19, according to the boy band’s agency Oui Entertainment on Wednesday.

“Members Kim Dong-han, Yoo Yong-ha, Kang Seok-hwan of WEi took PCR tests on Tuesday and subsequently received results that they have been infected with the virus,” said Oui Entertainment in a statement.

“The band has canceled everything on its schedule and the three members have been isolated according to the direction of the national health authorities.”

The agency also added that three other WEi members — Jang Dae-hyeon, Kim Jun-seo and Kim Yo-han — have also been administered PCR tests and are waiting for the results.

Though the band is not currently actively promoting any music, one member, Kim Dong-hwan, had participated in the filming of a music variety program “Double Trouble” on Monday.

The agency assured that the show’s crew has been notified and that Kim had undergone PCR testing before the filming and had tested negative at the time.

WEi debuted in 2020 with EP “Twilight.” Their latest EP is titled “WEi IDENTITY : Action” (2020) with title track “Bye Bye Bye.”
