VIXX's Hyuk to leave his agency Jellyfish Entertainment

Hyuk of boy band VIXX [JELLYFISH ENTERTAINMENT]

Hyuk of boy band VIXX will leave his agency Jellyfish Entertainment, according to a handwritten letter he uploaded on his Instagram Wednesday evening.

“I have decided to wrap up my time with Jellyfish Entertainment whom I’ve been with for 10 years and spend some time to readjust myself before I move forward to a new environment.

“I wanted to give only good news to Starlight [the name of VIXX’s fandom] in May because it is the month of our 10-year anniversary [since the band’s debut]. I wanted the fans to fully enjoy our anniversary as much as possible, which is why I deliver my news [today].”

Hyuk went on to emphasize that he will never forget the time he spent as part of VIXX and it was the period of his life when he was the happiest. The artist said he will continue to be active as a VIXX member.

“No matter where I am or what I do, I will always do my best to become someone our fans could be proud of as your artist and the youngest member of VIXX,” he said.

Hyuk debuted as part of VIXX in 2012 and became known for songs such as “On and On” (2013), “G.R.8.U” (2013), “Chained Up” (2015) and “Shangri-La” (2017).

Hyuk recently met with fans online on May 24 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the band’s debut on Naver’s V Live.
