Actor Yoo Ju-eun is dead at 27
Actor Yoo Ju-eun has died at the age of 27, according to her family on Monday.
Yoo’s older brother wrote on her Instagram account Monday that “Ju-eun left us on Aug. 29, 2022 to a place where she can rest comfortably.”
A note written by the actor shortly before passing away was also uploaded by her family in accordance with her wishes.
“I wanted to be an actor so much,” reads a part of Yoo’s note. “Acting was part of me and also all of me. But living [as an actor] was not easy. I don’t want to do anything else, and that gave me so much despair. Having something that I want to do is a blessing, but I also realized only wanting to do that is a curse.”
Born in 1995, Yoo debuted through a supporting role in the tvN series “Big Forest” (2018). She then played another small role in the TV Chosun series “Joseon Survival Period” (2019). She has not had any roles since.
