Ballad boy band 2AM set for first concert in 9 years in February
Boy Band 2AM is set to hold its first concert in nine years.
The band’s official Instagram account released a poster Monday night to announce the group’s upcoming concert titled “2AM Concert 22 S/S.”
According to the poster, “2AM Concert 22 S/S” is slated for Feb. 12 and 13 at the Blue Square MasterCard Hall in Yongsan District, central Seoul.
Tickets for “2AM Concert 22 S/S” are set to go on sale on Jan. 19 at 8 p.m through Interpark.
The groups last concert “'Nocturne” was in 2013.
“2AM Concert 22 S/S” follows the group’s recent EP “Ballad 21 F/W” which was released in November last year. The album dropped after the band took a seven-year break.
Upon the EP’s drop, songs such as “Should’ve Known” and “No good in good-bye” topped national music charts.
One of the few ballad boy groups, 2AM debuted in 2008 and released hit songs such as “This Song” (2008), “Never Let You Go” (2010) and “I Was Wrong” (2010). The band has four members — Jinwoon, Jo Kwon, Seulong and Changmin. 2AM is also known as the “brother group” of boy band 2PM.
