Blackpink’s 'Playing With Fire' music video surpasses 800 million views on YouTube
The music video for Blackpink’s 2016 hit “Playing With Fire” surpassed 800 million views on YouTube on Jan. 16.
“Playing With Fire” is Blackpink’s 10th music video to surpass 800 million views, six years since the girl group debuted.
Other music videos that have reached the milestone include “Ice Cream” (2020), “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du" (2018), “Kill This Love” (2019), “Boombayah” (2017), “As If It’s Your Last” (2017), “How You Like That” music video and performance video (2020), and Jennie’s solo music video, “Solo” (2018).
Released in November 2016, “Playing With Fire” was part of the group's second digital single “Square Two.”
Blackpink is currently on its world tour, “Born Pink World Tour.” After making stops in seven North American and seven European cities last year, Blackpink began touring Asian cities starting with Bangkok on Jan. 7 and 8.
The group will headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the Hyde Park British Summer Time (BST) festival and Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes charity event in Paris.
