BTS’s Suga and boy band Stray Kids will likely attend Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event on Wednesday, according to Samsung.

“Suga and Stray Kids will be appearing at the Unpacked event. But they will likely only attend the event without special performances stages planned,” a Samsung Electronics spokesperson told the Korea JoongAng Daily on Wednesday.

Galaxy Unpacked, set to be held in Coex, southern Seoul, at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, is Samsung’s event set to introduce its next-generation foldable smartphone lineup, Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5.

Samsung is also expected to reveal its newest lineup of tablets and wearable gadgets, including Galaxy Tab S9 and Galaxy Watch 6.

Wednesday’s event will be the first offline Galaxy Unpacked event held in Seoul and the first in July. Samsung’s previous Unpacked presentations for its Galaxy Z series were mostly held in New York in the second week of August.

BTS is Samsung Galaxy’s global ambassador, with bandmate Jimin also making a special appearance on-screen during February’s Galaxy Unpacked event as a model to introduce one of the new features of the Galaxy S23 lineup. Samsung also released a limited edition of its Galaxy Smartphones back in 2020, titled the Galaxy BTS Edition.
