Busy Riize outline bevy of activities ahead of first EP 'Riizing' dropping in June
Boy band Riize will drop its first EP “Riizing” in June, with a packed schedule of promotional activities until its release, the band’s agency SM Entertainment said Wednesday.
The band will kick off its hustle of activities by releasing the full version of “Siren” (2023) at noon on Wednesday. Only a one-minute performance video of the track had been released in August last year.
A digital single “Impossible” will drop on April 18, while three other tracks from the EP are slated for release on April 29. “Impossible” comes five months after Riize last released its digital single “Love 119” in January this year.
The trailer video for the EP will be released on April 5. The specific date of the EP’s release has not been revealed, but it is indicated that it will be after the band’s “Riizing Day” fan concert in Taipei on June 15.
The full timeline of all of the band’s activities scheduled up to the EP’s release, titled “Realtime Odyssey,” can be seen on Riize’s official website, uploaded at midnight on Tuesday.
Riize debuted as a seven-member band on Sept. 4 last year with its first single “Get a Guitar.” Member Seunghan has been on permanent hiatus since November last year.
The band is currently gearing up for its fan concert tour, "Riizing Day," which will start with two concerts in Seoul on May 4 and 5.
