Dean will drop long-awaited single on Saturday

R&B singer Dean [UNIVERSAL MUSIC KOREA]

R&B singer Dean's new single will be titled "Die 4 You," his agency, Universal Music Korea, said Friday.

The new single, slated for release on Saturday, will be Dean’s first new music after four and a half years since his fourth U.S. single, "Howlin' 404," dropped in May of 2019.

"Die 4 You" is an alternative R&B song made in collaboration with producer T.Y — who has worked with artists from Dean's label, you.will.knovv, including as Rad Museum and Tabber; and Indonesian electronica duo Galdive, per the agency.

A music video for "Die 4 You," will be revealed following the song's release.

Dean debuted in 2015 with his single "I'm Not Sorry." He is known for "D (half moon)" (2016), "21" (2016) and "Instagram" (2017).

The singer ceased his solo activities after the release of his U.S. single, making fans wonder whether he would come back to the music scene. He had also been inactive on social media until he uploaded a video cover of a Shiloh Dynasty song to Instagram on Nov. 10.
