Disney+ to release ‘Knock-Off’ starring Kim Soo-hyun and Cho Bo-ah in 2025

Disney+ original series “Knock-Off,” starring actors Kim Soo-hyun and Cho Bo-ah, is set to premiere in 2025, the streaming platform said Monday.

In “Knock-Off,” Kim Soo-hyun will play Kim Sung-jun, an ordinary office worker whose life is completely transformed by the IMF financial crisis, leading him to become a major player in the global counterfeit market.

Cho Bo-ah will portray Sung-jun’s former lover, Song Hye-jung, who is now a police officer focused on cracking down on counterfeit goods.

The drama will depict the intense cat-and-mouse dynamic between the two characters, according to Disney+.

The series will be directed by Park Hyeon-seok and written by Han Jung-hoon, who previously collaborated on the Netflix series “Song of the Bandits” (2023).

The specific release date for the series has yet to be disclosed.
