EXO returns with new album 'Exist'
Boy band EXO returned with its seventh full-length album "Exist" on Monday.
It is the band's first new album in four years and eight months with all eight members of EXO, as individual members began their mandatory service following the release of "Don't Mess Up My Tempo," the boy band's fifth full-length album in November 2018.
"Cream Soda" is an addictive pop dance score that features unique rhythms and instruments such as brass, piano and drums, EXO's agency SM Entertainment said.
"Cream Soda" alludes to the feelings of someone falling in love.
The eight members of EXO include Xiumin, Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O, Kai and Sehun. While Rei did not leave the band, he did not participate in most of EXO's albums and group activities since 2017 and left SM Entertainment in April 2022.
"Exist" will likely be Sehun's last album before he starts his mandatory military service this year. Kai, who began his social service in May, participated in the album production but will not participate in the album promotion, according to SM Entertainment.
The album features nine tracks, including "Regret It," written by member Chanyeol.
