(G)I-DLE member Yuqi to begin solo career with debut album
Yuqi of girl group (G)I-DLE will start off her solo career with her own album, "Yuq1," on April 23.
The (G)I-DLE member will roll out a pre-release track from the album titled "Could It Be" on Friday, followed by other promotional content leading up to the album's release day.
Offline sales for the album will begin on April 24, a day after it becomes available online.
Yuqi debuted as a member of (G)I-DLE in May 2018 with the EP “I AM,” released by Cube Entertainment. The band is known for the hit songs “Latata” (2018), “Tomboy” (2022), “Nxde” (2022) and “Queencard” (2023).
Yuqi has also been flaunting her music production skills as part of the quintet. She took part in producing the band's songs "i'M The Trend" (2020), "Lost" (2021), "Giant" (2021) and "Liar" (2022).
