Girls’ Generation member and actor Lim Yoon-a donated 100 million won ($74,000) to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation, according to her agency SM Entertainment on Friday.

“Lim donated 100 million won, which came from her personal funds and the sales of merchandise at her pop-up store, So Wonderful Day, which she temporarily ran in May to celebrate her birthday with her fans,” said SM Entertainment in a press release.

The fund will be used to support children experiencing financial difficulties who need medical treatment for cancer and other rare diseases. Lim joined the Honor Society, a group of high net-worth donors, in 2015.
