Loona member Chuu to host final episode of cheerleading program 'Stage Up'

Girl group Loona member Chuu will host the final episode of the new tvN cheerleading reality show "Stage Up," the show's broadcaster said Tuesday.
"Stage Up" is comprised of 14 cheerleading squads around Korea who work to perform at a cheerleading concert. The exact date of the final concert has not yet been announced.
"In a time when festivities are being held again post-Covid-19, we wanted to show the charm of cheerleading," the creatives of the show said in a press release on Tuesday.
The show is also expected to showcase cheerleading performances in collaboration with street dancers and hip-hop artists.
"Stage Up" will premiere Tuesday at 6 p.m. on the YouTube channel Ahmoya (translated).
Chuu debuted through girl group Loona in 2018 with the EP “[+ +],” pronounced "plus plus." The group has 12 members: Haseul, Vivi, Yves, JinSoul, Kim Lip, Chuu, Heejin, Hyunjin, Go Won, Choerry, Olivia Hye and Yeojin. It is known for hits "Hi High" (2018), "Why Not?" (2020) and "PTT (Paint The Town)" (2021).
