Mnet to air prequel episode of 'Street Man Fighter' in May
Mnet announced Tuesday that it will run a prequel episode of "Street Man Fighter" in May ahead of its official premiere in the summer.
The prequel will follow the process of the creation of a project dance crew called Be Mbitious which will be comprised of individual dancers who will come together as one crew for the purpose of dance competition "Street Man Fighter."
Unlike “Street Woman Fighter,” which saw existing crews of female dancers participate, individual male dancers as well as crews will compete in the upcoming show.
Mnet said that it will receive applications from solo dancers for the Be Mbitious crew until April 8.
Those interested in applying should upload a video of their choreography on their social media channels and fill out an application. More details about the application process can be found on the official social media account of Mnet Dance.
“Street Man Fighter” is the male version of Mnet’s hit dance competition show “Street Woman Fighter” for all-female dance crews in Korea. It aims to bring to the spotlight local male dancers and crews who remain relatively outside of the public and media spotlight.
