Nine Muses member Gyeongree to make solo comeback with EP 'Eternal Bloom'
Gyeongree of girl group Nine Muses will make a long-awaited comeback as a solo artist with her EP "Eternal Bloom" on Aug. 21.
Gyeongree's new two-track EP will include lead track "Cherry" and B-side track "Butterflies," according to her agency Label Sayu. This will be her first new solo music in six years.
"'Cherry' is a warm and soulful synth pop song that will be finished off with Gyeongree's unique vocals," the agency said in a press release.
"It will send a warm message to not only fans but also to herself as she signals a new beginning to open up a new chapter and break free from others' expectations."
Gyeongree debuted as a member of girl group Nine Muses in 2012. She joined the band, which had debuted in 2010, as a new member, and remained a member until the band disbanded in 2019. Gyeongree released her first solo track "Talk About You" in May 2017.
