Singer Sung Si-kyung adds third concert date in May after sell-out success
Tickets for singer Sung Si-kyung’s two-day concert, which is slated to take place later this month at the Jamsil Sports Complex in southern Seoul, sold out soon after going on sale.
The concert organizer S27 announced Wednesday that it has decided to add one more concert date.
The sold-out concert dates are May 28 and 29 and the additional concert will be held on May 27. Tickets for the extra date will go on sale from 8 p.m. on May 9 and cost between 99,000 won ($78.25) to 132,000 won.
The upcoming shows mark Sung’s first solo concerts in three years. According to the organizer, fans should “come in outfits that can best show how long they’ve been waiting for Sung’s concert.” Those who succeeded in purchasing tickets can send their song requests to 2022weddingcon@gmail.com along with photographs of a love story that they want to share.
Sung debuted in 2001 with the album “Like the First Time” and has since released eight full-length albums. Dubbed as the “King of Ballad,” Sung has numerous hit ballad songs including “You Touched My Heart” (2002), “Take Care” (2003), “On the Street” (2006), “It’s You” (2010) and “First Winter” (2019). He recently featured on Psy’s track “You Move Me” (2022).
