Riize, DAY6 top Bugs charts for third week of March

Boy band Riize topped Favorite's weekly chart for the third week of March.

Favorite is a K-pop fan poll co-developed by digital streaming service Bugs and the JoongAng Ilbo, an affiliate of the Korea JoongAng Daily.

Weekly chart rankings are calculated through a combination of fan votes and the number of streams on Bugs.

Riize received a score of 32.4 percent, garnering a total of 1,225 votes and 1 percent of Bugs' streaming numbers, to land in first place.

The second place was taken by Singer-songwriter IU with 18.6 percent, accounting for 583 votes and 3.7 percent of Bugs streaming data.

Boy band DAY6 landed at third with 12.3 percent, accounting for 305 votes and 4.5 percent of Bugs streaming data.

DAY6 received a score of 41.9 percent, with 3,989 votes and 10.3 percent of Bugs streaming data. The band came out with its EP "Fourever" and lead track "Welcome to the Show" on March 18.

Girl group NMIXX followed in second place, with 3,222 votes and 1.4 percent of Bugs streaming data, adding up to a 26.9 percent score, while rookie boy band TWS landed third.

Celebratory videos of Riize and DAY6 are being played at the Parnas Media Tower, located near COEX Mall in Gangnam District, southern Seoul, from March 30 to April 5.
