Seoul Jazz Week 2020 will run from Aug. 9 to 23, music festival organizer Pageturner announced on Wednesday.

Seoul Jazz Week started last year as a festival that serves as a stepping stone for artists to have new work opportunities at home and abroad by introducing their talents.

A total of 14 teams will perform on various stages in five venues: Cociety and Spinning Wolf in Seongsu-dong, western Seoul; House of Music & Books in Mapo District, eastern Seoul; Digeut House in Bukchon, central Seoul; and Sixty Seconds Lounge in Yongsan District, central Seoul.

Starting with Song Young-joo's solo piano performance with special guest Lee Bu-young on Aug. 9, jazz musicians such as jazz vocalist Moon Hye-won, Seo Young-do, Shin Hyun-pil and Cho Jae-beom will also participate.

The organizer plans to make all-out efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 by disinfecting the venues, checking the temperatures of visitors and staff and keeping distance between seats.

Official tickets for Seoul Jazz Week can be reserved through Naver.
