Seventeen to kick off 'Right Here' tour on Oct. 12 at Goyang Stadium
Boy band Seventeen will kick off its world tour "Right Here" with two concerts at Goyang Stadium, Gyeonggi on Oct. 12 and 13, its agency Pledis Entertainment said Tuesday.
The boy band will perform songs from its upcoming 12th EP — set for release in October — at the performance in Goyang, according to Pledis Entertainment.
Seventeen will perform in Asia and the United States as a part of the "Right Here" tour. The boy band will go on a “dome tour” for the Japanese leg of the world tour. A dome tour refers to K-pop acts performing in some of the largest Japanese indoor stadiums, often considered an impressive milestone that indicates the act’s popularity in the country.
The specific dates and locations of the performances were not disclosed as of Tuesday.
Tickets for the performance at Goyang Stadium will be available at Interpark on Sept. 13 at 8 p.m. People with Weverse memberships can purchase the tickets two days earlier on Sept. 11 from 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
The performance at Goyang Stadium will also be livestreamed online on Weverse. More information on the online tickets will be revealed at a later date.
Seventeen held its eighth fan meet and greet “Seventeen in Carat Land” at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro District, western Seoul, on July 24. The band will release a concert film, “Seventeen Tour ‘Follow’ Again To Cinemas,” on Aug. 14 exclusively at CGV theaters.
