Seventeen to release first new music in six months with EP slated for October

Boy band Seventeen [PLEDIS ENTERTAINMENT]

Boy band Seventeen will release its 12th EP in October, the boy band’s agency Pledis Entertainment said Monday.

The upcoming EP is Seventeen’s first new music in six months since its compilation album “17 Is Right Here” was released in April.

The boy band will also kick off its "Right Here" world tour in October and is set to perform in Asia and the United States.

Seventeen will go on a “dome tour” for the Japanese leg of "Right Here," according to Pledis Entertainment. The boy band will release a Japanese single as well.

Dome tour refers to K-pop acts performing in some of the largest Japanese indoor stadiums. It is often considered an impressive milestone to reach, as it indicates the act’s popularity in the country.

The specific dates and locations of the performances were not disclosed as of Monday afternoon.

Seventeen is also slated to headline the Lollapalooza Berlin festival, which will be held at Olympiastadion Berlin on Sept. 8.

Seventeen held its eighth fan meet and greet “Seventeen in Carat Land” at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro District, western Seoul, on July 24. The band will release a concert film, “Seventeen Tour ‘Follow’ Again To Cinemas,” on Aug. 14 exclusively at CGV theaters.
