Singer and actor Ko Woo-ri to wed in October
Singer and actor Ko Woo-ri is tying the knot in October with an entrepreneur five years her senior.
“Ko will hold a private wedding ceremony with her fiancé on Oct. 3,” her agency Image 9 Communications announced on Thursday.
“The couple met through acquaintances a year ago,” the agency said. “As they spent time together the pair became convinced that they found their life partners with the basis of a trusting and loving relationship.”
Ko debuted in November 2009 through girl group Rainbow and expanded her career to acting, appearing in television series such as KBS’s “My Only One” (2018-19), “Hello? Me!” (2021) and MBC’s “Love In Sadness” (2019).
Ko is set to appear in HBO Max original series “The Mentalist” starring alongside actors Park Si-hoo and Lee Si-young. The series will be released sometime later this year through local streaming service Wavve, which HBO Max has formed a partnership with to exclusively release its original content in Korea through.
