Super Junior D&E opens Japanese fan club website
Super Junior's subunit Super Junior D&E opened its official Japanese fan club website to expand its reach in Japan and better engage with fans.
The subunit, consisting of members Donghae and Eunhyuk, will upload information about its Japanese activities, along with other content, such as behind-the-scenes images and videos, on its new site, according to its Japanese management company Warner Music Korea.
Super Junior D&E debuted in December 2011 with its digital single "Oppa, Oppa." Its first single has sat at No. 2 on the Oricon weekly chart.
The subunit dropped its first Japanese full-length album, "Ride Me," on March 12, 2014, which topped the Oricon daily chart. It also went on its fan concert world tour, "DElight Party," meeting worldwide fans, including fans in Japan.
Super Junior debuted in 2005 with its first full-length album "Super Junior05." It is widely considered one of the pioneering K-pop boy bands of the 2000s, known for many hits such as "Miracle" (2005), "U" (2006), "Sorry Sorry" (2009), "Mr. Simple" (2011) and more.
