Super Junior's Kyuhyun signs with Antenna

Kyuhyun of boy band Super Junior [ANTENNA]

Kyuhyun of boy band Super Junior joined Antenna after leaving his former agency SM Entertainment last month.

"We recently signed an exclusive contract with Kyuhyun, the main vocalist of Super Junior, ballad singer and a star in many entertainment shows," his new agency said in a press release.

"We aim to support Kyuhyun's wide range of activities. We ask for your support as he begins a new chapter in his journey."

Having debuted as a new member of boy band Super Junior in 2006, Kyuhyun began a solo career with his EP "At Gwanghwamun" in 2014 and has released multiple songs flaunting his soft voice.

He has also had an active television career, landing regular roles on popular comic entertainment shows such as tvN's "New Journey to the West" (2015-18) and "Kang's Kitchen" (2017-19).

Kyuhyun has taken multiple roles in musicals, including "Mozart!" and "Frankenstein." He will be leading the upcoming play "Ben-Hur" when it opens on Sept. 2 at the LG Art Center.

He left SM Entertainment along with members Eunhyuk and Donghae when their contracts expired in July.

Super Junior debuted in 2005 with its full-length album “Super Junior05.” Kyuhyun joined the boy band in 2006 when the band dropped its first single “U” the following year.

Founded in 1997 by singer-songwriter Yoo Hee-yeol, Antenna is home to musicians such as Lucid Fall, Peppertones and artists including Mijoo, Kwon Jin-ah, Sam Kim and Yoo Jae-seok.
