Tomorrow X Together's Soobin gives children's hospital 100 million won

Tomorrow X Together member and leader Soobin [BIGHIT MUSIC]

Soobin, the leader of boy band Tomorrow X Together, donated 100 million won ($74,700) to the Seoul Metropolitan Children's Hospital for children with disabilities, the hospital said on Monday.

Of the donated amount, 20 million won will be used to treat children hospitalized for serious conditions such as brain lesions, as well as toward physical and mental rehabilitation for underprivileged children.

The remaining 80 million won will be used to improve the hospital environment, according to the children’s hospital.

The Community Chest of Korea and Good Neighbors will select the candidates for medical treatment and distribute the donated money after signing an MOU with the hospital in March.

“We will not forget the generosity of our donors, including singer Soobin, in the new year, and will continue to search for and support underprivileged households in welfare blind spots,” Nam Min, the hospital director, said.

Tomorrow X Together, a five-member band consisting of Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai, debuted in 2019 under BigHit Music. The band’s latest full-length album, its third to date, "The Name Chapter: Freefall", came out on Oct. 13 last year.
