Twice's 'With YOU-th" tops charts worldwide
Girl group Twice topped worldwide music charts over the weekend with its new album, “With YOU-th,” which dropped on Friday.
Twice's 13th EP topped iTunes Album charts in 23 regions around the world on Saturday. The album's lead track, “One Spark,” became the No. 1 Trending Music Video on YouTube on the same day.
The EP looks back on the memories and friendships made over Twice's nine years working as a group in the prime of their youth, according to the members.
Twice performed lead track “One Spark” for the first time on U.S. television show “Today” on Friday, the day of the album's release. The girl group also performed its English track “I Got You,” which was released on Feb. 2, prior to the official album's debut.
Twice is currently performing around the world on its “Ready to Be” tour, which began last year. The group has held concerts in Brazil and Mexico this year. Next, it is slated to stop in Yokohama, Japan.
The nine-member group will hold a livestream session and communicate with fans on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. to celebrate the release of the album. The livestream will be broadcast on Twice's YouTube channel and Naver TV.
