Entertainer Yoo Jae-suk donated feminine hygiene products to 500 low-income teenagers through 49 local children’s centers nationwide, a Seoul-based Christian nongovernmental organization G Foundation announced on Thursday.

G Foundation has been supporting low-income female teenagers with feminine hygiene products after a story about low-income students using shoe insoles as an alternative to pads brought attention to the issue in 2016.

The kits consists of six months' worth of sanitary pads, feminine cleanser, a reusable heating pad for menstrual cramp relief, sanitary pad pouches, basic cosmetics and hand sanitizer.

The celebrity is known across the industry for his generosity and often works to help those in need, including low-income single mothers and people vulnerable due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
