Another dating reality show will be pumped out by tvN and it’s going to be hosted by entertainer Yu Jae-seok.

The new dating reality show is titled “Skip.” Producer Jung Chul-min, who created “Running Man” (2010-) while he was working for SBS and “Sixth Sense” (2020-) after moving to tvN, will be taking the helm. Yu stars on both programs.

Jung talked about his upcoming production to media outlet YTN Star on Tuesday and said he always goes to Yu first and asks him to be the main host for any kind of show he creates.

“It’s equivalent to a restaurant that doesn’t really change its head chef,” he said. “I feel most comfortable working with Yu whom I fully trust.”

Yu is one of the most influential entertainers in Korea. Since his debut in 1991, he’s won 16 grand prizes at year-end entertainment awards from Korea’s three major broadcasters.

Actor Jeon So-min and rapper Nucksal will join Yu as co-hosts.

According to Jung, four women and four men will go on blind dates. Unlike the popular concept of recent dating reality shows where singles find love by living together under one roof, Jung said he wanted to differentiate his show by centering it on blind dates that happen in one day.

The participants will go on one on one dates, but if they don't fell any chemistry, they can push the skip button and move onto the next date.

“Skip” is slated to premiere in December.
