ONLEE is better known by his real name, Lee Seung-hwan, the name he used in audition programs and during his time in the now-disbanded boy band 1THE9.

He changed his stage name to ONLEE in August 2023.

He debuted as a member of boy band 1THE9 after joining MBC's boy band audition program "Under Nineteen" (2018–19). After the boy band disbanded in 2020, ONLEE participated in audition programs "Loud" (2021) and "Boys Planet."

He dropped his first solo album "Switch ON" on Nov. 27, 2023.
