The Boyz debuted in December 2017 with the EP "The First" under Cre.ker Entertainment, now known as IST Entertainment.
The group has 11 members: Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Ju Haknyeon, Sunwoo and Eric.
Member Hwall, who was part of the debut lineup, left in 2019. The group made its Japanese debut in November 2019 with the EP "TATTOO."
The Boyz gained popularity after winning Mnet's music competition show "Road to Kingdom" (2020).
Its fandom is called The B, an abbreviation of "the best.”
