The Boyz members dispute One Hundred Label's claims of paid settlements
Nine members of boy band The Boyz claimed that they had not received any settlement payments from One Hundred Label, disputing the agency's previous claims.
"All members of the [band] have not received any form of money, including the unpaid settlement amounts for the third and fourth quarter of 2025, since the agency released its statement that it 'completed the settlement payments to the artists'," a statement from Yulchon's lawyer Kim Mun-hui, representing the nine members of The Boyz, said Wednesday.
The nine out of the 10 members of The Boyz — Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, Q, Sunwoo and Eric — terminated the band's exclusive contract with One Hundred Label on Feb. 10, citing unpaid settlement payments for any activities since July 2025 on top of the agency's failure to pay on-site staff for months.
One Hundred Label claimed on Tuesday that it had "paid a high amount of exclusive contract fee and settlement payments," adding that the agency has a transparent plan to pay future payments to the members, in a statement.
The nine members' collective statement on Wednesday completely disputes the agency's claims.
"The payment dates were delayed and changed multiple times, even before filing for an injunction, yet no payments have been made even once," the statement from the nine bandmates' legal representative reads.
"It is deeply regrettable that an official statement says that the settlement payments were completed when no settlement payments have been completed."
The Boyz made its debut in 2017 under Cre.Ker Entertainment, which was merged with Play M Entertainment to form IST Entertainment. The boy band left IST Entertainment in late 2024 to join One Hundred Label, better known as the agency formed by rapper MC Mong and entrepreneur Cha Ga-won. One Hundred Label's subsidiary, INB100, also had its artists Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin terminate their exclusive contracts on April 10.
