'Red Velvet 4th Concert : R to V' to kick off with concerts in Seoul
Girl group Red Velvet will kick off its "R to V" world tour with two concerts in Seoul, the band's agency SM Entertainment said Monday.
The "Red Velvet 4th Concert : R to V" will be held Saturday and Sunday at the KSPO Dome in southern Seoul.
The second performance in the Korean capital will be livestreamed on the Beyond LIVE platform.
The Seoul concerts will be followed by stops in Singapore, Yokohama, Manila, Bangkok, Jakarta, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and London.
This will be Red Velvet's first solo concert in Europe and also the group's first domestic performance in three and a half years since "La Rouge" in November 2019.
The girl group will also take part in the Primavera Sound 2023 festival in Spain as the only K-pop group to do so and will perform on June 1 in Barcelona and June 8 in Madrid.
Red Velvet debuted in 2014 and consists of five members: Irene, Wendy, Seulgi, Joy and Yeri. The band’s latest EP, “Birthday” (2022), sold 1 million copies this January, making it the group’s first million seller.
