'Vigilante,' a Disney Plus release, will start streaming later this year
Disney Plus will release “Vigilante,” a Korean dark-hero series, in the second half of 2023, the streaming service said Friday.
“Vigilante,” an action-thriller series, will be a dramatized version of “Vigilante” (2018-21), a Naver webtoon of the same name, written by CRG and drawn by webtoonist Kim Kyu-sam.
The plot centers around protagonist Kim Ji-young, played by actor Nam Joo-hyuk, a student at the National Police University by day and a vigilante at night pursuing and punishing criminals.

Actor Lee Joon-hyuk took leading roles in tvN drama “Stranger” (2017), “Stranger 2” (2020), and “Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days” (2018). Lee, who started his mandatory military service last month, will also be featured in “The Roundup: No Way Out” (2023).
