Play “Last Session” starring "Squid Game" actor and Golden Globe winner Oh Young-soo, will extend performances for two more weeks, according to the show's production company The Park Company on Tuesday.

The show was originally set to close March 6, but with 17 added performances, “Last Session” will run until March 20.

“All the actors and staff appreciated the love and support that the play received, so we all happily agreed to extend the performances,” said the company in a statement.

After Oh won a Golden Globe Award for his performance as a supporting actor in "Squid Game," nearly all performances of “Last Session" sold out.

Tickets for the added shows will be available from Wednesday at 3 p.m.

“Last Session,” which opened in early January at TOM Theater’s Hall 1 in Daehangno, central Seoul, is a 85-minute play comprised of just two characters — Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis — in a pedantic debate about the existence of God and the meaning of life.

The play is based on "Freud's Last Session," an American play written by Mark St. Germain that was first performed on stage in 2009.

In the Korean production of the play, Oh takes on the role of the Austrian psychotherapist Sigmund Freud.

The production also stars 86-year-old actor Shin Gu as Freud and actors Lee Sang-yun, 40, and Jeon Park-chan, 39, in the role of Lewis.
Oh majored in theater at Dongguk University and debuted as an actor in 1963. The actor made his first silver screen appearance in 1965 in “The Seashore Village” and was also in director Kim Ki-duk’s “Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring” (2003). He was largely known for his theater work until he was cast as player No. 1, also known as Oh Il-nam in “Squid Game.” Oh has been in some 200 plays.
